Dearest Moon,
On the eve before you strengthen, and turn blue, my heart grows with you. We are who we are, for everything in the world lives in you, and everything in the world lives in me.
There is no greater time when I feel the source of the wind, the rotation of the earth, the heights and depths of mountains, and canyons, stars colliding, planets circling, ancient caves, ancient rhythms, cool, clear water, dreams within dreams, lungs, heartbeats, pulses, inhales, exhales than in these moments spent breathing with you, being fully who we are. I feel every sunrise, sunset, every petal, every wave, every rise and fall, every life. I feel time in its entirety. I feel ancient. I feel born. I understand, and I am here.
Thank you for helping me find my way home. Thank you for showing me clarity. Thank you for providing the safety I need to surrender. Thank you for holding open my heart so I can let all of this pain go. Thank you for cutting through the darkness, revealing my strength, and supporting my wonder in this world. Your beauty, your faith, your wisdom, your reflection know no bounds. I know no bounds. For this and for the many moments to come, I am grateful, and inspired. I am in awe, and I am right here.
